The engine is a dry sump, iron-block, alloy head with four valves per cylinder, Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection producing 277bhp @ 6500rpm, transmission is a five speed manual ZF transaxle driving the wheels via 40% limited slip differential, independent suspension, rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, Campagnolo alloy wheels. Dry weight is 2830lbs, 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds with top speed of 163 mph.This is the one and only super car produced for the street by BMW!
